My Passwords: a private password vault
One safe place for all those logins, so you’re not hunting for a scrap of paper every time a website asks for a password.
What it does
- Keeps your website, bank and email logins together in one private list.
- Locks them with a separate vault password that only you know.
- Lets you search, copy a password with one tap and add notes.
- Can bring in passwords from another password manager’s file.
- Lets you download a copy of your passwords to keep somewhere safe.
How it works
- Choose a vault passwordPick a vault password you’ll remember. It is different from your main DedSafe passphrase, which adds an extra lock.
- Add your loginsType in the website, your username and password. Add a note if it helps, such as “the one for the gas bill”.
- Open it when you need itUnlock the vault, find the login and copy the password with one tap.
Good to know
- My Passwords is “zero-knowledge”. Your passwords are locked on your own device with AES-256 encryption before anything is saved, so nobody at DedSafe can read them.
- Because we never see your vault password, we cannot reset it. If it’s forgotten, the saved passwords can’t be recovered, so keep a downloaded copy safe.
- My Passwords is never passed on, not even to your Keyholders. For logins your family will need, use the online accounts part of the “When I’m gone” pack.
Which plans include it?
Included with Silver, Gold and Platinum. Plans start from £12 a month.
